The Sam Farr Award is presented annually at the UVC recognition dinner to a Monterey County business or organization that has donated its time, money and or services to causes supporting either veterans or active-duty military.  These entities may be Veteran Service Organizations or other private businesses or non-profits.


SAM FARR AWARD NOMINATION

Nominations for the Sam Farr Award must be turned in to the United Veterans Council not later than the close of business on the last Tuesday of September each year.

The nominations will be considered by the United Veterans Council Executive Committee following the September United Veterans Council Meeting.  The winner will be notified and invited to attend the recognition dinner at the date and time appropriate for that year.
